CannaCare focuses on small managed grows producing consistent, high-quality cannabis that is 100% organic. Our mission is to supply medical wholesalers and manufacturers with a sun grown product, characterised by superior terpenes, flavonoids and cannabinoids. Our vision is to become a leader in Europe’s rapidly evolving medicinal cannabis market.

About Us

Our business is led by a renowned award-winning Master Grower and an expert Chief Science Officer. Our entrepreneurial spirit and artisanal ethos attracted a local team of cultivators, an international lineup of highly accomplished scientists and a keenly committed group of shareholders. All of us are passionate about growing high-quality organic cannabis in natural sunlight to consistently bring out the plants’ purest essences: terpenes, cannabinoids and flavonoids.

We received our license from Infarmed, Portugal’s National Authority of Medicines and Health in late 2023. CannaCare GMP dry flower will be available for sale to medicinal wholesalers and manufacturers in Europe, United Kingdom and Australia in autumn 2024.

Our Cannabis

We value consistent, powerful chemistry and the distinctive characteristics of our organically grown cannabis such as terpenes, taste and flavour. The unique attributes of our sun grow flowers are becoming more valuable to manufacturers and wholesalers as Europe’s medicinal cannabis market evolves and preferences become more discerning.

We currently work with one of the world’s top seed scientists to curate the genetics of our cultivars and we are in the process of developing our own genetics’ portfolio. Our in-house R&D team is focused on the development of proprietary strains for future cultivation in an organic environment. This key vertical integration enhances our position as a fully independent industry leader, and a paradigm of organic cultivation.

Our potent and flavourful packaged dry flower will be available for purchase in autumn 2024.

Our Process

CannaCare takes a holistic view towards growing cannabis. We have meticulously crafted a chemical-free outdoor ecosystem that leverages Portugal’s warm and sunny climate. Each element of the process, from the water to the nutrients in the soil, is carefully considered to nurture quality and organically remove contaminants and pests. The comfortable spacing between the plants ensures each receives the right amount of water and the full spectrum of solar radiation, which artificial lights cannot replicate. We surround the flower with aromatic and medicinal plants such as lemon balm, citronella and lavender to foster growth, organic pollination and vitality.

We are strong proponents of chemical-free farming. When grown in an organic environment, the innate biocidal properties of cannabis flourish, and the plants achieve natural protection from many pests and infections, giving them maximum potential for excellence.

Our pharmaceutical grade packaged flower meets all regulatory requirements in accordance with good medicine manufacturing rules (GMP).
